The 2027 Annual Meeting will be held at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis from April 25-29, 2027.

The Hyatt Regency Minneapolis will serve as the host hotel for the IALE-North America 2027 Annual Meeting. A room block has been set up for conference attendees, making it easy to stay where the meeting is taking place and connect with colleagues throughout the week. In addition to the discounted rate of $201(plus taxes) available to all attendees who reserve before the deadline of April 3, 2027 (or when the block fills up), a small Per Diem room block has also been set up. Note that you will have to provide proof of employment with a federal or state agency when checking in to take advantage of the Per Diem rate. Traveling to Minneapolis
Minneapolis is a city where landscape ecology comes alive outside the conference walls, too. Set along the Mississippi River and dotted with 13 lakes within city limits, it offers miles of trails and waterfront parks just steps from downtown, all easily reached from the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis. Beyond its natural beauty, the city boasts a lively arts and music scene, celebrated local dining, and welcoming neighborhoods perfect for exploring between sessions. Whether you're drawn to a lakeside run, a stroll through the Sculpture Garden, or an evening on Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis promises a memorable backdrop for the 2027 Annual Meeting.
If you are flying, the closest airport is Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP), which is roughly 9 miles from the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis.
There is a light rail option from MSP to the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis via Metro Transit. The Blue Line train departs from the Terminal 1 Station and arrives at Nicollet Mall Station, just steps from the hotel. Trains run every 15 minutes and the trip takes about 24 minutes, with tickets costing just $2.
For those who prefer door-to-door service, taxis and rideshares take approximately 16 minutes and cost between $30 and $45 each way.

- Chain of Lakes, Anyone? Minneapolis has 13 lakes within city limits — how many can you visit? Bde Maka Ska and Lake Harriet are the easiest to reach on foot, bike, or paddle board.
