The 2025 Annual Meeting will be held at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel (421 South Salisbury Street, Raleigh, NC), April 13-18.
OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS
Overnight accommodations are available at the Sheraton to IALE Annual Meeting participants at a discounted group rate of $189/night plus tax. Reservations must be made by March 21, 2025 to receive the group rate.
To make a reservation, BOOK ONLINE, or call Marriott Central Reservations at 1-800-325-3535 and request a room in the IALE-NA 2025 Annual Conference group block (group code: I1A). Consider extending your trip! The Sheraton will honor our group rate up to 3 days pre- and/or post-conference, subject to availability. When booking your overnight accommodations, check with Reservations to see if you may extend your stay at the group rate. A limited number of rooms are also available at the prevailing government per diem rate for eligible federal employees. A valid government ID will be required upon check-in with the hotel to confirm your eligibility to receive this rate. Make a reservation in the federal per diem block online, or use the group code I2A when calling Marriott Central Reservations. |

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION: Getting Around, Airport Shuttle Service, and Parking
The Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) is approximately 20-minutes from the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel. Most major airlines service RDU. RDU has many ground transportation options. Providers pick up passengers outside bag claim at Terminal 1 and at Terminal 2, on the lower level.
AREA ATTRACTIONS
- The free North Carlina Museums of Art, History, and Natural Sciences - all in Raleigh.
- Lollygag your way down to the Triple-A Minor League Baseball Durham Bulls for a home series against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. The Single-A Carolina Mudcats (in Zebulon) also have a home series.
- Lake Johnson Park has paved and natural surface trails. The 6600-acre Umstead State Park is nearby.
- The Sara P. Duke Gardens contains 55 acres of botanical gardens at Duke University.
- The Ackland Art Museum on the campus of University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
- The JC Raulston Arboretum at NC State University has a collection of landscape plants from 50 countries.
