IALE-North America Student Travel Awards

Up to 20 awards of $800 each are available to students to offset costs associated with attending the 2023 IALE-North America meeting in Riverside, California.

All IALE-NA sponsored student travel award applications are due by 11:59 pm EST (GMT-5) on Sunday, January 8, 2023. Applicants will receive an email confirmation of their submission within 48 hours of submitting. We anticipate notifying awardees in late January 2023.
Eligibility, Criteria, Requirements, and Other Information:
The Awards Committee is committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in accordance with this statement. To that end, we specifically encourage students with traditionally underrepresented backgrounds to apply for these awards.
- Basic personal information about you and your degree program
- Lists of your educational and professional experience, publications, presentations, and other products
- A statement regarding your contribution to diversity and inclusion in landscape ecology
- Short descriptions of your graduate research, your professional goals, and how the award will help advance your studies and your career
- A copy of your abstract that was submitted to the meeting
- An anticipated budget for the meeting
