Diversity Virtual Travel Awards (DVTA)
IALE-North America aims to provide support for diverse and traditionally underrepresented voices by proactively addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within our Regional Chapter. Four priority DEI action items are to broaden participation of underrepresented minorities across our region, increase representation of non-G7 IALE-NA countries (Mexico, Central America, and The Caribbean), increase opportunities for engagement through inclusive networking, and form a mentoring program.
Award recipients will receive funds to offset registration costs associated with attending the 2021 IALE-North America virtual meeting, April 12-16, 2021. Award recipients will participate in the conference through a newly formed mentoring program as a mentor or mentee and through networking activities.
